Thanks to Scouting Assistant for making this software available to purchasers of the Bushnell Trophy Cam free of charge. I think bushnell is on to something here. I am very pleased with using my 466 as a timelapse, and really like the idea I can add an external battery to it. I have had quite a few dedicated time lapse cameras before this one, like the Day 6 Plotwatcher (2010 model), Brinno and Wingscapes cameras. There is also a zoom feature as you are playing it back. From a scouting perspective, the video that was made with Scouting Assistant is of much higher quality than what it looks like here on youtube. I really wanted to use my camera in this role as a time lapse only, so I changed the sensitivity on the motion part of the camera to "low" and the interval for motion sensing to 60 minutes. It was 146 MB from those 392 pictures, and after compressing it into a video using Scouting Assistant, it was down to 18.1 MB. Over 3 plus days, it took 392 pictures on a 5 minute interval from my Bushnell 466 2011 Trophy Cam. The program does not allow export to GIF format. The Time-Lapse Tool Personal License has the following limitations: The program does not allow you to use resolutions greater than DVD (480p) for export.
You need the serial number to get it activated from the link that Anthony has posted above. Time-Lapse Tool software provides a free Personal Edition with most of the same features as the paid editions. The scouting assistant rocks ! Here is my first go go at it.
